Our Team

Aryendra Munshi - Team Member

Aryendra, a dedicated high school freshman, is enthusiastic about addressing critical healthcare challenges through technological advancements. His deep interest in medical technologies and data science led him to research applications of deep learning for medical imaging independently. Under the mentorship of professors at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Aryendra honed his skills through a research project on computer-aided face mask detection. Witnessing how emerging technologies can beneficially impact people's lives fueled his passion for developing solutions that advance social good. This inspiration sparked the idea for ColonPolypAI, his groundbreaking AI tool to improve colorectal cancer screening. When not immersed in academics, Aryendra enjoys competitive tennis - a sport that has taught him resilience and perseverance, qualities he channels into tackling ambitious goals that can help transform patient outcomes.

Braydon Xu - Team Member

Braydon is a passionate high school freshman who has always been fascinated by the intersection of computer science and medicine. He took his earliest interests and taught himself programming languages like Python to explore these fields. This foundation, combined with Aryendra's expertise in AI, led them to conceive ColonPolypAI. When not focused on their studies, Braydon enjoys playing football and rugby, as well as learning about new technologies that could help improve lives.
